Ok, so we have this 14kt gold chain from Italy.  We know it is gold because it’s stamped on the chain.  We know it is from Italy because it is stamped there as well.  The chain is about twenty-four inches in lengthe and maybe about an eighth of an inch thick.  It is almost a tube design.  Check out the pictures.
